ContentKeeper Web offers a wide array of policy options, truly allowing administrators to define their own Acceptable Internet Usage policies. Some policy features include:

Custom policies: Allows per-category, per-user and per-group access control settings, as well as IP-and VLAN-based policy controls, catering for different Internet access rules for different groups and users in your organization.

Default policy:"Catch all" default policy that blocks all categories of objectionable content while allowing access to business-related sites.

Global policy: Overrides all other policies.

Flexible Categorizations: Single or Multiple categorizations per site, with a white list/black list option and instant local re-categorization of sites.

Customizable Staff Notification and Blocking screens: Advise staff they are being monitored, in compliance with local privacy legislation. Block screens are customizable by category, user group, and blocking option (Allow, Block, Coach, Authenticate etc.).

Superior protocol management: Management of over 70 protocols.

Time-and byte-based quotas: Allows management of Internet access via Personal Surfing Units (PSUs) across multiple categories.

Multiple Policies: These allow combinations of the above settings to cater to different access profiles.

Full username resolution: Identify individual users by name, IP, groups etc.
